  • How to use Taisho Iris Children's Eye Drops 14ml

    1. Ensure Strict Hygiene: Before you begin, thoroughly wash and dry your hands with soap and water. This is the most important step to prevent introducing any bacteria into your child's eyes.
    2. Prepare Your Child: Gently tilt your child's head back, or have them lie down in a comfortable and relaxed position. Ask them to look up towards the ceiling. Reassure them to help them stay calm.
    3. Administer the Drops Safely: With one hand, gently pull down their lower eyelid to create a small pocket. With your other hand, hold the bottle above their eye. Without letting the tip of the bottle touch the eye, eyelashes, eyelid, or any other surface, gently squeeze the bottle to dispense 2 to 3 drops into the lower eyelid pocket.
    4. Allow the Drops to Absorb: Ask your child to gently close their eye for about one minute. It is important that they do not blink vigorously or rub their eye, as this can squeeze the drops out. You can also gently press on the inner corner of the eye (near the nose) to prevent the drops from draining away too quickly.
    5. Clean Up: Use a clean, soft tissue to gently wipe away any excess liquid from around the eye area.
    6. Recap and Store: Securely recap the bottle immediately after use to maintain its sterility. Store it in a cool, dark place, out of the reach of children.
    7. Dosage Reminder: This can be done up to 3 to 6 times per day as needed. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. This product must always be administered by an adult or under strict parental supervision.
